These Neo-Cons really do stick together don't they?
John Bolton, Bush's Permanent Rep to The UN so names The Dick Cheney in his new book - which shall go un-named here.
It should be duly noted that John Bolton refused to serve in Vietnam. He wrote in his Yale 25th reunion book, "I confess I had no desire to die in a Southeast Asian rice paddy. I considered the war in Vietnam already lost."
That sounds pretty familiar to the story The Dick Cheney told the draft board.....he of course received 5 wartime deferments.
Of course, Dubya, did his wartime duty somewhere over the skies of Houston - when he wasn't AWOL!
Is it a coincidence that Bush, Bolton, & The Dick Cheney never set foot in combat but yet felt compelled to launch 2 wars which after 8 years - are still ongoing? It sickens me that some 5,000 American soldiers are dead, thousands more wounded or maimed and families ripped apart - all because these Neo-Con "nation builders" feel obligated to spread their ideology of war and occupation.
Why is it that so many of these Neo-Cons love war, but only if they get to send someone else to do the dying?
This is the same crowd that gave us such dreadful memories including, "Mission Accomplished", "Bin Laden: Dead or Alive", and of course, "The Axis of Evil" and the "Evil Doers".
What exactly did The Dick Cheney do to earn this venerable honor from his fellow coward friend? All I have seen him do is claim that President Obama isn't keeping us safe - but didn't 9/11 happen on their watch? He calls the federal trials for terrorists "mock trials" and says they should be held in military tribunals. How many military tribunals did the Bush administration hold? ZERO!
Perhaps the award is for authorizing water-boarding, illegal eavesdropping on our phone calls and emails....
I sincerely hope that America has learned a lesson from this.....that we will never ever give power to those unwilling to serve themselves!
